Validating demand
This site and the waitlist exist to find out whether enough people actually want a phone like this before any money is spent building one.
Firming up the design
If there's enough interest, the next step is turning the target spec into a real design and getting manufacturing quotes — which is what will set the final price.
A go or no-go call
With real costs and a real design in hand, we'll decide whether to move toward building Vortex. Waitlist members will be the first to hear either way.
