Questions
Straight answers, since Vortex is still in development.
When can I buy it?
Not yet. Vortex is a concept — there's no hardware to sell. The waitlist is how we gauge real interest before deciding whether to build it.
Does the solar panel fully charge the phone?
No. It's designed as an emergency trickle charge for when you're stranded, not a replacement for plugging in. Don't expect a full charge from sunlight alone.
Is the £399–£449 price final?
No. It's an estimate based on target specs. The real price depends on manufacturing quotes we don't have yet, and could move in either direction.
What happens to my email if I join the waitlist?
We only use it to update you on Vortex's progress. We won't sell it or share it with third parties — see the note on the waitlist page for details.
